Ever since we first arrived as a large group (travelling ice hockey team) with no reservation, the staff at this restaurant have always been so accommodating.
I’ve since returned, often on my own for away game fixtures and to my complete surprise, am always remembered by a certain member of staff who always takes the time to say hello and have a chat.
Given that I’m often only visiting twice a year at months apart, I feel this is a reflection of how wonderful this restaurant really is.

炸魚很好吃，但吃到最後還是有點太油膩
咖哩醬是靈魂，超級好吃（醬是另外點的，3英鎊）
甜點TOFFEE PUDDING和PINEAPPLE SPLIT都很好吃
在英國吃了太多好甜好膩的甜點，相較之下這家的甜點太驚艷了，甜度很剛好
餐點份量都很大，傳統炸魚薯條和甜點都可以兩人分食一份就好

Food was very nice! We took 2 pensioners here and they enjoyed their pensioners meal! The atmosphere was very charming and the price wasn't too bad! Overall would come again! 100% recommended when in the area!

Superb! Everything was great, fresh fish, crispy chips, mushy peas and condiments all top quality. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Best fish n chips I've had in a while!

Best fish and chips in the northeast,I do travel a lot and have to admit it's exquisite.Extremely clean, welcoming and very attentive staff. Five stars.

Huge servings, fish well cooked and very nice, chips crispy and a lot of them plus tasty sides. would recommend it, but maybe share a single portion of chips if you are not big eaters !!

I can't stop thinking about the scampi. I had it for lunch yesterday and have been daydreaming about it ever since, and that was probably the 4th time I've ordered it so it's not just a first impression, it is consistently delicious. It's so tangy and juicy and crispy. And with the homemade garlicky tartare sauce.... Chef's kiss.
